FLORENCE, SC – The U.S. Army’s Florence Recruiting Company is proud to announce the launch of the Army Iron Man campaign, which honors the best two-way high school football players in the recruiting company’s territory, including the high schools on the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee regions of the state.  Playing and excelling on both offense and defense, the Army Iron Man must demonstrate physical and emotional strength, as well as strength of character.  The Army Iron Man embodies the qualities of Army STRONG!

“The Sports Flash” (TSF) Radio Network will accept nominations each week from high school football coaches, athletic directors, media members, and high school football fans.  Each week, high school football fans from throughout the battalion’s recruiting territory will have the opportunity to vote for the winner of the Army Iron Man of the Week.  At the end of the regular season, fans will vote for the Army Iron Man of the Year from among the weekly winners. Throughout the campaign, fans can visit www.TheSportsFlash.com to stay updated on the Army Iron Man campaign; vote for the weekly winner; and much more.
