Come out for the Military Appreciation Night at the Pelican Baseball Game June 6 as they celebrate American Soldiers from the past, present and future.

Cpt. Edward Green, a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) instructor at Coastal Carolina University, will give the Oath of Enlistment to Army Future Soldiers from the Myrtle Beach Recruiting Center.

Green will also have the honor of re-enlisting Sgt. First Class John Hand who is the Myrtle Beach Assistant Center Commander. Hand has been in the Army for over 13 years and has worked as an Army Recruiter 2005. He started working in Myrtle Beach in 2012 and quickly distinguished himself from others. In 2013, Hand received the distinct honor of being named Top Recruiter of the Quarter twice in the same year.

There will also be a special ceremony to recognize many veterans from World War II.
