My name is Dominique Huff, 18, from Blythewood, S.C. I
graduated from Blythewood High School in 2016. My Army job will be as a Human
Resource Specialist.
I joined the Army to start a career while gaining
valuable job experiences. I also love to travel and experience new things.
I will be attending basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
To be prepared for basic, I have done light workouts to include running and
weight lifting. I have also talked to many friends and family who have either
been or are currently in the Army. They have helped me prepare so I know what
to expect while at basic training.
My family is supportive of my decision to enlist since
both of my parents are retired military.
For my time in the Army, I hope to gain confidence and discipline. My goal is to get in the best physical shape possible.
