Army Recruiters from Aiken, S.C. worked with the administration of North Augusta High School and the Celebrate Freedom Foundation (CFF) to set up a unique event to highlight Army STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) jobs.

On Friday, September 18, over 1,000 science and math students viewed the fly in of CFF's AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopter, "Maggie " and the static display of another helicopter, "Annie". CFF's SOaR (Student/School Opportunities and Rewards) outreach program emphasized STEM careers through
aviation and STEM subject matter experts like pilot,

Soldiers from the Fort Gordon Cyber Center of Excellence, discussed
communication and information technology careers, the value of education,
and why it is so important to stay in school. "Our purpose at North
Augusta High School and all high schools for that matter is to provide
opportunities for our
students to explore possibilities and expand their
understanding of college and career choices," stated the school's Principal,
Mr. John Murphy.
