Joining the Army to be a Role Model

Brettanie Hoyle is 17 years old from Shelby, N.C., and she chose a job in the Military Police field called Internment and Resettlement Specialist

Why I joined the Army?

“I joined the Army to become a better role model for my younger brother. He deserves the best things in life and I know that the Army will open more opportunities for me to be the best I can possibly be. I also hope to inspire the younger generation in my town.”

What I hope to get out of the Army?

“I hope that I can do as much as I can with my MOS (Military Occupational Speciality). I also hope to be one of the Soldiers people read about in history books that did something great or completely amazing for our country.”

What can I bring to the Army?

“I will bring a great deal of determination. There is nothing I can’t do if I want it bad enough. I am Army Strong!”
